What is a fireproof board?
Fireproof board, also known as fire-resistant board, is a fire-resistant building material for surface decoration. It has rich surface colors, lines and special physical properties. It can be used for interior decoration, furniture, kitchen cabinets, laboratory tables, and exterior walls. This kind of board not only has the light weight, flexibility and reprocessing performance of wooden organic board, but also has the fire resistance and water resistance performance of inorganic board.

01. What are the types and characteristics of fireproof boards? Today we are going to talk about three kinds of fireproof boards: traditional fireproof boards, anti Beite boards and fireproofing boards.
1. Traditional fireproof board
The fireproof board is not really afraid of fire, but has a certain fire resistance performance. It is made of decorative paper and kraft paper after immersion, drying, high temperature and high pressure and other processing steps. Its structure is surface wear-resistant layer+colored paper+multi-layer kraft paper, and it has the characteristics of wear resistance, high temperature resistance, scratch resistance, penetration resistance and easy cleaning.

Anti beta special anti beta special board is made of decorative colored paper, multiple layers of black or brown kraft paper, laminated, and then pressed with steel plates under high temperature and high pressure. The number of sheets of kraft paper can be adjusted according to the needs. The thickness is 1.6~25mm. The arc shape can be designed as L, U, M and V, and the width can reach 1.8 * 4.2m.
As a decorative material, Kangbeite is thicker than the traditional fireproof board, which is solid, impact resistant, waterproof and moisture resistant. As a structural material, it can directly use standard carbon steel alloy cutters to drill, knock, sand, guide and cut.
3. Although the fire resistance of fireproofing board is high, as a finishing material, where the fire resistance rating is high, such as the suspended ceiling, it can only be used when the fire resistance rating reaches Grade I. At this time, fireproofing board is put into use.
Firecracker has good fire resistance, its fire rating can reach Grade A standard, and its antibacterial and mildew resistant ability is stronger. If the suspended ceiling wants to be made of wood grain grid, it can be decorated with Firegram. The normal size of the firecracker is 1220mm * 2440mm * 3mm.

02. What finishing texture can be made for the finishing layer? The decorative panels on the surface of the three kinds of fireproof boards mentioned above (traditional, anti Beite and fireproofing) can be made into the following patterns:
1. The wood grain veneer is processed by imitating wood grain colored paper, and its surface texture can be varied, such as oil paint surface, brush wood grain, horizontal grain, and real wood grain. Of course, there are also wood grain fireproof boards on the real wood surface, but the price is expensive.
2. The price of solid color refractory board with plain color veneer is relatively cheap and affordable.
3. Metal veneer
The surface is compounded with aluminum alloy or other metals on the refractory board, which is generally used in kitchens or high-end places. The price is 2-3 times that of ordinary wood grain refractory board, and the processing technology is relatively more complex.
4. The stone veneer is different from the metal veneer. The stone veneer is made by scanning the stone grain and then using digital printing technology to make it into a 1:1 pseudo true stone grain refractory plate.
03. Installation process of fireproof board 1. Direct pasting
Direct adhesive method is one of the most common methods for the construction of fireproof boards, which is to directly apply adhesive on the walls that have been made of wood or gypsum board base materials. Common organic base plate materials: Aosong board, density board, particle board, blockboard and solid wood board.
During site construction, attention shall be paid to the selection of base materials and glue to ensure construction quality and avoid bubbling or cracking.
technological process
a. First, use cutting tools to cut the refractory board into the required size. It should be noted that each edge of the refractory board should be left with an additional 6mm for trimming.
b. Sand the surface of the base material and the edge of the fireproof board with tools.
c. Scrape an appropriate amount of glue evenly to the back of the fireproof board and the substrate.
d. Use roller or press to pressurize to ensure that the fireproof board is pasted on the base plate, and then conduct trimming and cleaning.
In some important research institutions, hospitals, schools and other spaces, the requirements for indoor building materials are relatively high. Inorganic materials can be combined with fireproof boards to improve the fire rating and the needs of indoor space. Common inorganic base materials: calcium silicate board, aluminum honeycomb (nest) board, aluminum board, glass magnesium board, mineral wool board, etc.
2. The dry hanging and dry hanging structure is mainly used for the 9mm finished double-sided composite fire-proof board and the 8mm high performance laminate. The bearing keel is steel or aluminum alloy profile, which is fixed to the plate with special standard buckles and adjustable buckles for installation.

a. Arrangement and installation of keel
Before installing keel, measure the wall surface and snap lines for positioning. It should be noted that the spacing between vertical keels should be ≤ 400mm, and L-shaped corner pieces, M6 expansion bolts and M self tapping screws should be used to fix the vertical keels. The spacing between fixed points should be ≤ 600mm.
b. Arrangement and installation of aluminum alloy dry hanging horizontal keel
The spacing of the same aluminum alloy dry hanging horizontal keel shall be ≤ 400mm, and M4 self tapping screws shall be used to fix the horizontal keel on the vertical keel, with the spacing ≤ 400mm.
c. Arrangement and installation of pendants
Place the back of the fireproof board upward and horizontally, and position, draw lines, open holes and install pendants according to the drawings. It should be noted that the screw opening on the plate should be 1mm smaller than the screw diameter and 1mm deeper than the screw length. The hanging pieces in the top row are adjustable, and other parts use ordinary hanging pieces. The horizontal and vertical spacing of hanging pieces should be ≤ 400mm.
d. Hanging plate
When hanging the hanging plate, use a glass suction cup to hold the hanging plate, and install it from bottom to top. The height difference of the whole wall surface shall be controlled within 2 m ≤ 3 mm. The closing is generally carried out by pressing the wall with the ceiling. The top edge is closed, and the bottom edge plate is 10mm from the ground, which can be filled with sealant.
e. The butt joint treatment is the same as the bottom treatment. The butt joint between plates can be filled with sealant, or embedded with decorative strips or natural butt joints with tongue and groove, and the edges are protected with textured paper.
